The girls went for their check-ups this week. It was time for Abigail's 3 year and Ava's 6 month visit. Here's all their info...
Abigail
30 lbs. 50th percentile
37.5 inches tall 60th percentile
Ava
15.2 lbs. 35th percentile
27 inches long 90th percentile
I was so glad to hear Abigail was in the 50th percentile for her weight. Those of you who have known her since she was born know she has always been in the lower percentiles for her weight. Her doctors were always trying to get us to help her gain weight. Now that she has discovered cookies and donuts (her favorites) she seems to not need my help with that anymore!
And what about Ava being in the 90th percentile for her length? I was noticing today while she was in the Baby Bjorn that her legs really are getting long. The doctor said she is a little stringbean. I think that's about right!
Since the girls were together for their doctor visit, Abigail got to see Ava getting checked out. Ava screamed through most of the visit, so Abigail thought she needed to tell the doctor, "Sometimes babies cry." As if she didn't know. : ) She also told the doctor that "Ava likes to take her clothes off all the time!" I've never seen anyone so excited to be at the doctor. She had so much fun though the whole visit!

Rachel will be delighted that Abigail now has more first-hand experience from the doctor's office. ;)
