Ava turned one today. It's hard to believe...it actually seems like longer than a year ago we were at the hospital, about to meet our sweet little girl. The first thing Jon and I both noticed after she was born was her little dimple. We also both thought she looked a lot like Abigail, but it only took a few hours for us to start noticing how different she actually was. It has been a wonderful year getting to know our Boo and we all love her so much. We have had fun celebrating her birthday for the past couple of weeks. Here are some pictures from today's fun.
Today's birthday cupcake. Abigail helped me make them this morning. Ava ate the whole thing!
Our gift to Ava was a new carseat. She needed a new one, and one of her favorite things to do now is climb up in chairs, so she was happy. She loved it, as you can see in the picture.
We went with Nana and Papa (Jon's parents) to the aquarium today. Abigail and Ava both had a great time!
Ava scooted around the aquarium in her new car, given to her by Grammy and Papa George (my parents) for her birthday. She loved it. She would get out to see the animals then walk to her car and get back in.
