You know you live far from the city when...

We have been enjoying reruns of The Cosby Show lately. We've tivo-ed some and let Abigail watch with us occasionally. She loves Rudy, Vanessa, and Bud. Jon and I love the picture of marriage and family presented on that show. Plus it's pretty funny. 

The other day Christy and Justin (my sis and bro-in-law) were watching the girls for us. They had taken them to a softball game. Christy was taking Abigail to the bathroom when a little black girl walked by.  Abigail said, "Christy, that girl looks just like Rudy!" Yes, we live in county that is almost completely white... : )
